Oh boy. Any idea of what her favourite genre is? It’s so hard to know what to recommend without at least a bit of a starting point.

Off the top of my head, you’ve got a lot of choices here, my friend. Everything from really nice ‘coffee table books’ that look great displayed, to a specific edition of one of her favorite books, to something sentimental between the two of you, to just a random book that might strike her fancy. You tell us what direction you’re thinking

Does she keep track of her read books on something like Goodreads or Storygraph? Whenever I buy books for my sister I check to see if she’s marked the book as read on one of those sites.
