I am a huge Stephen King fan and I've been trying to get through all of his books but after 3 or 4 it takes a toll on me. I'm currently reading the Long Walk and I'm full of despair. I would usually rely on Brandon Sanderson for something moreifht hearted, I loved Wayne from the second era of Mistborn but I am currently listening to Rhythm of War and if you've read it I don't have to tell you why it's not helping my depression either ha.
I would love a fun coming of age book with a group of friends but I'd settle for the least sappiest romance novel. I just want some things fun and happy and if possible funny.
I have read the Harry Potter series and I'm not due for a reread yet and I've read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (usually recommend when asked for funny books).
Thanks in advance!

You Had Me At Woof & Bad Karma. Both are cute dog novels about a Boston Terrier which is a dog I own~~
If you’re looking for a fun and light read, try *The House in the Cerulean Sea* by TJ Klune. It’s a heartwarming story with quirky characters and lots of humor. Another good choice is *Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine* by Gail Honeyman—it’s uplifting and sweet.
