My kid is advanced reader but reads mostly non-fictions. LO can read and understand complex topics, has good comprehension and vocabulary. LO likes topics like –
fossils, geology, deep oceans, details of national parks how the features were formed, evolution, different eons and animals that evolved at different times, extinction events, of course dinosaurs, has read books like astronomy for young people in a hurry with me etc. likes details of cool
Animals, fossils, habitats, spaceships, minerals and crystals, canyons and other wildernesses, cool vocations etc.
What kind of fiction do you think LO will like? ( does read a few, but I wanted to check something in line with non-fictions interests)
Now while concepts and vocabulary is fine, I also want the overall vibe to be age appropriate!

*Dinotopia*. A boy and his father are in a ship wreck and land on an island where dinosaurs and humans coexist. The father is a naturalist and the first two books are written and illustrated like a naturalist’s notebooks.
