I just finished this audiodrama called John From Back Home. It's about how your high school best friend keeps calling you, desperate to restart the friendship and missing the glory days.
It becomes a fantasy audiodrama halfway through, which sucks, cuz I was really enjoying the themes of missing the excitement of youth and the boring repetitiveness of adulthood. I'd love recommendations that scratch that itch, especially if they're funny!
I also don't mind if it's a genre like Horror or Fantasy. I was just disappointed in the podcast because it felt like the fantasy aspect came out of nowhere and such.
