I’m currently reading The girls of Victory street and I realized how much I enjoy (feels like the wrong word for this purpose but English is not my first language) to read about that time period. How people lived and the hardships of war.
Especially what it was like being a young girl of that time.

Rosamunde Pilchers – The long way home is an old favorite of mine however I don’t enjoy her other books. And as a young girl I loved Michelle Magorians books.
