Hi all,
I'm hoping for suggestions for books we can read to our daughter. It's mostly to relax/encourage language without us reading the same farm yard books every night, but without us accidently running into adult themes.
I enjoyed this as a child like Harry Potter, LOTR, Narnia.
English and Welsh language users.

I forgot to add a thank you in advance <3
My parents read me all of those books too, but I think my favorite was His Dark Materials trilogy (The Golden Compass is the first one, you might have seen the movie or show).
The Phantom Tollbooth is a book I’ve listened to and read with my kids multiple times. It’s always good!
Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events books are also amazing. The multiple narrators are the best in the audiobook!
[Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/6a6d5ca1-b2f5-47be-828c-018144d3bbc7) by Jessica Townsend! It’s my favorite series even as an adult, and the only one that makes me feel the way the Harry Potter books used to.
