I watched Out of Sight movie about 2-3 years ago, and I thought it was pretty dumb. plot just didn't make any sense to me. at that time, I hadn't read any Elmore Leonard novels, so I didn't know he was the writer behind it. A few months later, I started exploring his books and realized he wrote Out of Sight. Since then, I’ve read a bunch of his novels. I loved all of them and most of the adaptations were fine (though there were a few bad ones, ofc). But I still haven’t read Out of Sight because of how much I disliked the movie. For those who’ve read the book and seen the film, how do they compare? Are there big differences that might make me love the novel?
