I am really craving some quicker reads (100-300ish pages) and have broad taste but am more of a fiction reader.
Love pretty much everything I’ve read by Ursula K Le Guin, Octavia Butler, Murakami, and Bulgakov.
Some recent reads that I enjoyed were
A Little Life
How We Go High in The Dark
Evil Eye
Station Eleven
Yellow Face
Thursday Murder Clubs

All Systems Red, Martha Wells (a faster paced lighter read than the authors you list on the surface, it’s also a surprisingly intelligent little novella / series of novellas)
In The Skin of the Lion, Michael Ondaatje
How Long Till Black Future Month? N K Jemisin (short story collection)
_To Be Taught, If Fortunate_ is a quick, introspective novella about the crew of a research mission light-years from Earth. It follows them as they move from planet to planet, reflecting on what brought them here and where they’re ultimately headed. A beautiful character study.
_Babel-17_ is a wild space adventure that Le Guinn cited as inspiration for some of her work. It’s a psychedelic planet-hopping adventure that’s also a meditation on language and identity, and what it means to limit or expand each of those things.
