My therapist has diagnosed me with maladaptive daydreaming and it’s running rampant on my life, our idea is for me to listen to audiobooks. I can tone out just about anything and daydream so I’ll be using headphones to help make it harder on me, I drive 8 hours a day for work so I have plenty of time to listen.
With that out of the way, if I’m being completely honest I never enjoyed reading. I have enjoyed different audiobooks in the past though.
The only three audiobooks I’ve finished are
Practicing mindfulness, an introduction to meditation
The heart of the Buddha’s teachings
Fail until you don’t (I listened to a lot of his radio show)
I honestly don’t know where to start, I did really enjoy learning about Buddhism and would probably like to read more on anything in that realm.
I think I could like autobiographies depending on the person.
I know I haven’t shared much as far as interests so I’ll just list some random things that interest me to help you help me.
cars, basketball, ancient history, Buddhism.
