I loved Harry Potter as a kid and the idea of a hidden magical world and magical school.

I don't agree with the author. But the idea of the series is still inviting

I also love percy jackson and The author. I've read most of his Series. Heroes of olympus Cain Chronicles. Maggie's chase. I love. This hidden world of gods and Goddesses. Mythical and magical creatures

    2. Also forgot to mention. I mostly do audio books. It would take me way too long to read. A big book or novel. So I prefer audio books

    3. Have you read the Rick Riordan Presents imprint? Authors write Percy Jackson-esque books about their own culture’s mythologies. I loved the Tristan Strong trilogy which focuses on West African and African-American mythology.

His Dark Materials series by Phillip Pullman

The Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis

Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage

The Royal Guide to Monster Slaying by Kelley Armstrong. All about mythical creatures, adventure, and friendship.

    5. The Tortall series by Tamora Pierce.

The Chronicles of Chrestomanci by Diana Wynne Jones

      Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix

      Pendragon by D. J. MacHale

The Ranger’s Apprentice by John Flanagan

      Tithe by Holly Black

    6. The Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovich. MC is a biracial probationary cop looking at a paper pushing job until a routine interview with a witness turns out to be with a ghost. It’s a gritty London police procedural but also has fantasy and magic. Best read in order. The first title is The Midnight Riot.

    7. The Reckoners series by Brandon Sanderson is great. If you haven’t gotten into Brandon Sanderson yet, I 100% would start asap based on what you like and his books are like adultish versions of like Percy Jackson
