i'm looking for short, easy to read fiction books. i realized some of my best reading years was when i read a lot of these. and i just want to have a variety of short & sweet books.
a lot of them are japanese or korean translations, such as "tokyo ueno station" and "the vegetarian". i can go on an on, i have several that i've read and/or purchased and plan to read. if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
i like to read books with diverse characters as well though im open to almost anything. bonus points if the characters are arab, as im trying to read more fiction from there.
basically the page range from 150-250, give or take. i would prefer something a bit more contemporary / literary, but if there are elements of fantasy or romance i dont mind. historical fiction i usually enjoy with diverse characters. no children's books and tbh no YA either unless you think a YA book is worth mentioning. thank you!
