I wanna read a book that's too tragic which would make me cry for each page. Tragic just like "You've Reached Sam" by Dustin Thao but I feel like I want it to be sadder. Any recommendations?

I had a very visceral reaction to White Nights by Dostoyevsky. Its only 90 pages or so. And its so beautiful😭. The overarching theme of loneliness in your 20s is so well done.
I also had a similar reaction to Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin. Its a Gay novel. But has themes of social isolation, shame, guilt, and regret. Its very very very sad and ends in heartbreaking way.
