Need scary book recommendations!

I like paranormal stuff, serial killer mysteries, creature based horror, sci fi depending. I like stuff that has a lot of action but very humanized and likable characters. I really liked Jaws and Haunting of Hill House if it helps. I tend to like books that are also movies because it’s fun to compare and contrast when I finish reading them.

Just seeing if there’s any suggestions outside of what my google research has brought me.
