Some books I have enjoyed over the past year. Pigs by Johanna Stoberock, The Museum of Human History by Rebekah Bergman, The Face of Another by Kōbō Abe, Let’s Go Play at the Adams’ by Mendal W. Johnson, The Vegetarian by Han Kang, In the Miso Soup by Ryu Murakami. I’m currently reading Geek Love by Katherine Dunn which I overall like as well.
I have trouble trying to describe my taste in books but I think what draws these books together is that they feature some kind of dive into greater questions about identity and humanity, along with sometimes featuring a heightened reality. So if that’s an accurate description, I would like some more books along those lines.

Melancholy by Danny Mouso, its a collection of short stories that have different themes, mainly about psychological thriller, but was a fun read overall. Its ebook is currently free on Amazon.
