**Les Miserables**, by Victor Hugo, runs to about 2000 pages in its unabridged form. **War and Peace** by Tolstoy is similar. Both are long, layered books that will take a while to read and longer to understand.
**Poor Fellow My Country** by Xavier Herbert might also do. That’s about 1500.
Very few books have ever been published that fit your criteria as given, there are SO FEW 3000 pagers…but if you relax it to “1500 or more”, you’ll get some really good reads
