Looking for a romance that feels realistic, has some actual yearning and a slower burn, minimal smut preferred, and more complex writing (think NOT Colleen Hoover).
Recently read “Before we were strangers” by Renée Carlind and absolutely hated it. I’m not usually big in the romance scene, but Ashley Poston’s “Dead Romantics” “Seven Year Slip” and “A Novel Love Story” made me think maybe I could enjoy romance, but currently looking for something that’s maybe not as light as those three and not as poorly written as Carlind’s book.
