Hello! I’m looking for a very specific horror trope. A person or group of people go missing, and then miraculously return. However, they’re not the same as before. Whatever took them came back also.
So far I’ve found two books with this similar plot: House of Hollow and Our Wives Under the Sea.
If you have any other recommendations I would really appreciate it!
