I love mysteries but since having a baby things upset me more. I love Gillian Flynn normally for example but it’s too much for me right now. What is an actual good mystery with a good twist that isn’t too disturbing?
If you’re open to YA, Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson is a young adult/new adult series that takes inspiration from Nancy Drew. It has some creepy moments and the mystery is really good without being too much imo
