Suggest me short books that will help me get back into reading

So yeah ever since my dad died , my depression has gotten worse and i find myself unable to enjoy big books. But i recently read bridge to terabithia and loved it. So yeah pls suggest me books that will ease me back into reading. Short books for young readers or middle grade readers or even YA . It could be anything. Tragedy, comedy, slice of life , fantasy , sci-fi , etc. As long as it’s 200-300 pages and has a simple enjoyable plot. Short stories work too.
