I just finished in memoriam by Alice Winn and I feel empty, I’m trying to fill the void with a similar book. I would love another WW1 book, but something historical and queer would also be appreciated. Thank you
I haven’t read *In Memoriam*, so this might be off, but have you tried Pat Barker’s *Regeneration* trilogy? The first book is set in a hospital during WWI. A war hero has thrown away his medals and the psychologists are trying to make the case that he has shell-shock. But a number of the main characters are gay.
