I want more books that make me think. And feel their themes.
I feel like most interesting books brought up existencialism or humanism in some forms.
In this direction I've read and enjoyed books like 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Steppenwolf or the Outsider.
As you can see, most of them are somewhat science fiction, and while I definitly also want suggestions for this genre, maybe you can also point me to some books from another genre.
Also, most of the books I read are fairly old, which surely is not a bad thing, but I wonder if there are some books from our century that are able to strike the same nerve as the ones I mentioned.
