A book about somebody who peaked in high school but failed in life
Can somebody suggest me books where a character had perfect grades in high school but later failed in life (dropped out of college, suffering from mental health illness, working a low paid job)?

It’s a play, but I feel like Death of a Salesman fits this to a T.
