I'm not sure if this is okay, but after reading the rules of this subreddit, I think it is.
At the time of writing this post, I am currently a sophomore college student. I went through training to be a part of my college radio station. After completing the training, I was now given the power to create my podcast, and since I am an avid reader and lover of all things books, I made a book podcast where I can talk about all things books.
It's called Wolves of the Written Word. (Because my college mascot is a wolf.)
The creation of this podcast has allowed me to improve my audio editing skills on Adobe Audition, episode writing, social media planning, and improving on my vocal skills on the mic.
My podcast isn't popular across campus, despite many college students reading books in their free time, I realized that I couldn't compete with the sports shows and podcasts at the station. Not that it's a bad thing, but it's going to be harder to reach an audience when I am going up against sports.
- Just to give some context, on average sports podcasts get at least 100 views per episode. Even on their weakest day.
But anyway, I did team up with my college library to promote the podcast. (And I should do it again.) And everyone that has listened to my podcast when they had the time too, liked the production value and the content that I talked about when it came to the episode.
So I am posting about my podcast here so I can show my book podcast to other avid readers on this subreddit. You can criticize my voice, the content of the episodes, or whatever. But getting listeners for my podcast and establishing myself as a content creator, especially when it comes to talking about literature.

I had a short-lived podcast. We got an audience of about 75 listeners.
With 2 kids, full time jobs, and everything else, I had to stop. Didn’t have time left to edit, mange, advertise… it was just exhausting to do it all alone – so congrats on getting it going.
If you ever need a strange, old guy who is a fan of books and movie – hit me up.
