I’ve been desperately looking for something to read while I wait for some books to arrive from the library.
I like to find something like red rising or scythe, I like fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction, I don’t mind romance as long as there isn’t much and also no smut please I’m traumatized from booktok😭 thanks in advance!

are you anti YA? If you liked Scythe (which is technically YA too), you’ll probably like Unwind by the same author. I read both and liked Unwind even better and read that whole series

Highly recommend it in audiobook!
I just finished The Reformatory by Tananarive Due and it was amazing. Historical fiction novel set in 1950s Jim Crow south. It follows a boy as he gets sent to boys reform school and the terrible things that happen there.
It’s historical fiction with some paranormal woven beautifully in. I couldn’t put it down.
