Need a contemporary Detective series that focus on the personal life of the detective as well as a great mystery

Looking for Detective book series with atleast one Male lead(50% pov if Multi pov).

Also has focus on the personal life of the detective. His family, love intrest/ or multiple love intrests, friends etc

Tropes I like are: fish out of water, underdog, hiding their strength etc(these are not necessary, but would be good if it has any of these tropes)
