for me, the best part of reading is that rare surprise. I’ve been a fan of sci-fi and speculative fiction forever. I had never read {{The Machine Stops}} by EM Forster. I’m 50. How did I miss this? What’s yours?
The Blue Castle by LM Montgomery. I’ve loved LM Montgomery’s books since I was a teenager and have read both the full Anne of Green Gables and Emily of New Moon series (a few more than once), and somehow missed this other very famous book of hers until just a few months ago. Absolutely loved it.
