Classic situation of a New Year’s resolution to read more. So far I’ve actually kept it up! I’m at 11 down of my stated goal of 20 for the year. I set a subsequent/related goal that I wanted at least 10 of those to be “classics”/standards (using that term very loosely.) some of my favorite reads this year:
Moby Dick – Melville
Orbital – Samantha Harvey
The Last Temptation of Christ – Nikos Kazantzakis
The Human Stain – Philip Roth
The Brothers Karamazov – Dostoevsky
American Pastoral – Philip Roth
Anyway, curious what you all think could be interesting options for me to explore next! I’m open to mostly anything 🙂
