Because oks with lots of symbolism or connections that can be made

This seems like a really weird way to describe a book request, but I’m looking for a book you would want to take to book club. With the resurgence of the Hunger Games I’ve been seeing a lot of really good analysis of the series and it’s been really fun to go through all the details and make my own connections myself. If I remember correctly I had a similar feeling when I had to read Crime and Punishment in high school. I’m sure that’s a weird combination of book recommendations but I would love some suggestions!
