I want to get my goddaughter a book for her first birthday. I was wondering is there a way to find a book published on a certain day ie 8 of April. As in the a book published the day she was born
Is there a way to do this or am I insane

I don’t see an option to search for a specific day, but you can search by month and year.

if you are using amazon there is a [sort by] button that can organize by publication date
I can only search science fiction and fantasy books, and books usually come out on Tuesdays so you’re mostly out of luck, but I do see that the Writers of the Future anthology volume 38 came out that day. I’m not sure a one year old will really appreciate it, but there are illustrations!
