I am hoping there is a book out there where there is an arranged marriage, and the woman decides to go through with it to accomplish her goals, like political influence or wealth or because she is a lesbian and has no other choice. Idk

Bonus points if she already has a partner and decides to leave her relationship for the arranged one.

I have read the graphic novel Ruined by Sarah Vaughn, Sarah Winifred Searle, and Niki Smith. The story is this arranged marriage; she has money but a damaged reputation, he needs money for his estate. I liked the slow pacing of their relationship. It felt very realistic.

I have recently finished the Cresent City series by Sarah J Maass, Legends and Lattes/Books and Bonedust by Travis Baldree, What Moves the Dead/What Feasts at Night by T Kingfisher. I am currently reading Can't Spell Treason without Tea by Rebecca Thorne, and Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King.

I have no patience for mysteries.

You might have better luck in r/romancebooks. They sure know their tropes. 🙂
