Just what the title says. A book that feels like sitting down to a chat with an old friend. I’ve had a rough few months. I’ve lost people. I feel very lonely, but also want to be alone. I need a book friend.
For me, cozy mysteries give me that exact feeling you’re looking for. I tend to go on cozy binges when life gets heavy or if I just read a very emotional book. My favorite series are The Coffee House Mysteries by Cleo Coyle and A Library Lover’s Mysteries by Jenn McKinlay.
