Historical Fiction?

Hello! I’m looking for a historical fiction novel that’s not too kiddy but also not boring. I feel like I have the worst of luck finding something in the middle so I’m open to any recommendations!

I also love when it follows history pretty closely but it’s not necessary. Oh!! And extra points if there’s romance <3
