Books about the death of a friend?

I recently lost my best friend and have been struggling to cope with it. i'd like to read a story with that particular theme but i don't really know any, most involve family or romantic relationships but thats not really what i'm looking for. i've been rereading The Outsiders, he really liked that book. thank you
