I need one or two physical books to take on deployment with me. I would like a longish book if possible. I have read and loved: DCC, Jack Reacher, Harry Bosch, the realm of the elderlings books, all of Andy Weirs stuff and Sanderson stuff. Thanks guys !!!

I’ve read Weir before, but why not Lord of the Rings? I read it this year. It’s long, beautiful, inspiring, and I still think about it. It sticks with you.
