ISO a clean book that's easy to follow. I mostly read self help, poetry, lifestyle and religious books. I need to balance it out with fiction from time to time, but I want to find something that will get my attention. I don't like books that are graphic or detailed when it comes to sex or murder. It's a personal preference for me. Ty!
Genres I'd be interested in: Mystery/thriller, historical fiction, graphic novel/manga, adventure or feel good.

Watership Down, a first novel entirely about a group of rabbits moving across an English countryside, became a publishing phenomena when it came out in 1972 due to it’s unusual premise and gripping adventurous story and remains a GREAT READ no matter who you are or where your interests lie. As wholesome as could be, too. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watership_Down](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watership_Down)
Mrs. Quinn’s Rise to Fame by Olivia Ford (feel good fiction)
[Liturgy of Light](https://www.thesunlightpress.com/2025/10/28/liturgy-of-light/) published by The Sunlight Press Literary Journal is a feel good story for the Christmas season.
These Silent Woods – Kimi Cunningham Grant
One of my absolute favorites.
