Wanting to learn more about the history of feminism and other stuff relating to it. Any books you could recommend?
As title reads. I’m young so preferably nothing too hard to understand, but I’d like to be more knowledgeable on the history of feminism and women rights
If it’s specifically the history of feminism you’re looking at then The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan is largely credited with sparking second-wave feminism. It does tend to heavily focus on middle to upper class white women, so I wouldn’t read it alone, but it did help a massive movement gain its spark.
