The Neil Peel books by Ben Dixon are hilarious slice of life books about a boy of your brother’s age who always tells the truth. They’re very popular with boys his age at the school where I teach, even the reluctant readers. Very cheeky humour and relatable situations. The Heroic Truths of Neil Peel is the first one.
