This question was already asked a yr ago by another member but I’m more interested in specific themes in the book. The true crime and culinary aspect is what intrigues me.
Other similar books I saw that were suggested were A Certain Hunger by Chelsea Summers and Arsenic and Adobo by Mia Manansala.

Perfume. No culinary theme, but definitely explores smell and is very sensory.
If you want female rage + blowing up your life + culinary -> piglet was great
