My grandmother is dying. I feel unmoored. She has always been there, how can she leave? She is Catholic, I am faithful but not religious (if that helps). Something that can help walk me through this grief would be greatly appreciated. I finished Between Two Fires yesterday and it was oddly comforting.

    1. Perhaps *Fair Play* by Louise Hegarty. When I first started this book, it annoyed and confused me a little. However, after returning to it following a death in the family, I began to appreciate its peculiar exploration of grief.
