My mom has mentioned wanting to get back into reading, talking about how much she used to love it growing up. Her favorite authors were R.L. Stein & Christopher Pike. Her favorite book she remembers was The Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright.
Does anyone have any suggestions for either more adult books by these authors, or books similar that she may like now?

When I read Gone Girl, it immediately reminded me of the Christopher Pike books I read as a teenager.
