I like to get my dad books for christmas. he likes anything set in or about texas, coen brothers movies, history, comedy, and wants to read more classics. his favorite book of all time is lonesome dove.
previous books he’s enjoyed: the boys in the boat, the haunting of hill house, the spy who came in from the cold, all the pretty horses and the rest is noise.

‘Universe of Two’ by Stephen Kiernan. It’s a historical fiction book about The Manhattan Project, and the actual people who worked on it. The book deals with the making of the b0mb and the moral dilemma in doing so. Excellent book. There is a love interest with the main character, but it is not the central theme of the book.
