I’m looking for book recommendations that absolutely wreck you. When you finish reading them you'll be like "I hate reading".
Specifically, I’m after stories where a characters’ anguish or despair is so heavy or heartbreaking that you really feel for them..,

its a pretty long one but the last one that made me feel like this was probably 11/22/63 🙂 stephen king is known for horror, but his books are a lot more likely to make me sad than scared, lol
