Is there any horror books people recommend? I’m just getting into the genre and really love books such as Sundial, Nos4A2, and The ninth house by Dreadpirate983

Other truly great ones I’ve read: —Sara Gran’s Come Closer (demonic possession, turn on all the lights); — Starve Acre by Andrew Hurley (English rural/folktale horror done perfectly); —The Crane Husband by Kelly Barnhill (allegorical horror drawing on domestic abuse) — Breed by Chase Novak (what a twist! this one has stayed with me for years)
