What novel should writers read to learn prose
I dont read novels at all, I know writing but not book specific, more so on movies and comics. So what books should read to understand and improve thing that are important to books, specifically prose. I dont care about the content.

My advice is to start reading widely, from different genres and time periods and perspectives. Then focus on the genre you’re hoping to write for to familiarize yourself with its conventions.
