I love gozy feel-good books about Christmas but I also love horror and want to switch it up sometimes.
So please any book suggestions that's around Christmas or winter that's also horror? I don't care how scary it is it could be the most gory book ever or it could simply be a sad ghost story that suits a 12 year old.
So far I have my eyes on the haunting season, the winter spirits and the witching hour which are apparently a set with stories from several authors.

Dickens’ original Christmas Carol falls into this category, really. It’s certainly less tame than some of its adaptations have made it.
