Ive recently had a long stint with mountaineering books. (I just finished thirty below and really enjoyed it)
I’m looking for similar books that are mountaineering adjacent.
I’ve heard there are some about shipwrecks stuck in ice?
Basically any non fiction that is really intense is what I’m looking for hahah! Books Where you think why the fuck are they doing that but maybe I kinda want to do that

Rory Stewart’s The places in between
British man walks across Afghanistan in 2002, enduring cold, dog attacks, military and tribal tensions, religious prejudice and a long, tough walk. Excellent book, and the author later became involved in charity work and politics
Ada BlackJack: A True Story of Survival in the Arctic by Jennifer Niven is excellent and very much in this category. And there’s a cat!
Have you already done Into Thin Air by Krakauer? If not, definitely read that.
