I am one book shy of my reading goal and I just can't seem to find anything to grab my interest. I think it's just end of year stress getting to me.

Here are the books I've read and enjoyed this year (I've read more books than this but I figure why add the ones I didn't like?):

    • All of Dungeon Crawler Carl series (..twice)
    • Murderbot re-read
    • Brigands & Breadknives by Travis Baldree
    • Assassins Anonymous by Rob Hart
    • The Medusa Protocol by Rob Hart
    • Emergency Skin by NK Jemisin
    • The Lies of the Ajungo by Moses Ose Utomi
    • The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times by Jane Goodall
    • If You Ask Me by Betty White
    • I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman
    • The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Wrede
    • Red Land, Black Land: Daily Life in Ancient Egypt by Barbara Mertz
    • The Year 1000: What Life Was Like at the Turn of the First Millennium, An Englishman's World by Robert Lacey
    • River of Blood: American Slavery from the People Who Lived It: Interviews & Photographs of Formerly Enslaved African Americans by Richard Cahan, Michael Williams, Dorothea Lange

Generally speaking: I am a fan of scifi and fantasy, particularly with female main characters, and history that leans more towards anthropology/archaeology.

Please try and include author with the title suggested.

The Timeless Fate Series by iLana Markarov. My favorite book series both fantasy and science fiction, you will love it! I am also a huge fan of female main characters especially one full of complexity and I also love history or deep physiological topics. Enjoy, and let me know what you think, I am excited for you to read this!
