Self-help/motivation book for a negative self-centered person?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to find a book for my 65-year old mom. She's a really hard person, always sees flaws in everything, only talks about herself and her problems, and won't listen to anyone. I'm hoping to find her a book that may help a tiny bit at least, and hopefully she'll see a psychologist at some point.
