obsession and identity crisis

Hi everyone! This is my first ever post on reddit :0 I am gathering some info for my Masters and I'd like to ask if you could recommend me books about 1. Identity crises 2. that could portray itself in an obsession, but not necessarily (other forms of "coping" too)

im rather looking for the contemporary ones, but if you know some oldies, i'd gladly read about it too!
