Looking for a book as part of a Christmas gift for my 15 yo nephew. He’s not a particularly big reader but sometimes when you’re bored and you can’t drive yet, maybe he’ll reach out and give a book a try, who knows. He’s into wrestling, running, fishing, and Boy Scouts. Enjoys doing electrical/construction projects with my dad. My brother has been a less than stellar parent to him since he had an affair and then subsequent divorce. Hoping to find something that will hit the mark! Thanks in advance!

Your nephew sounds like he needs something with adventure that won’t feel like homework. Maybe try Hatchet by Gary Paulsen? Survival story about a kid alone in wilderness, perfect for the Boy Scout type without being preachy about divorce stuff.
